Coming from the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, D’wayne was raised by a single mother and a house full of uncles and brothers. As he got older he always viewed music as a way to express himself metaphorically. From there he became skilled in writing and playing with words to writing books of Rhymes to depict his essence of Hip-Hop. The release of his first music video “Letter to HipHop” was just the beginning of D’wayne’s feelings towards Hip-Hop, he “miss her” and still “love her”. This video mostly is in one scenery; however the visual and the lyrical content will explain his letter to Hip-hop. Many of his fans “loved that old school feel” paying homage to Hip-Hop the way it all started. His debut mixtape “The Prescription” has received great amount of attention by many Hip-Hop fans from all over the world. His distinctive imagery as the “Hip-Hop” Pharmacist delivering doses of music will continuously remain alive throughout generations of those influenced by Hip-Hop.
