After dropping their introductory EP, A Prelude To Hello, this past July, Lili K. and Peter Cottontale are currently in the works of releasing their next project, Metal Petals. To hold you over until then, however, Lili and Peter are here to deliver a new single filled with their soulfully jazzy holiday spirit. “A Christmas Song” combines a medley of holiday classics (Gloria; Angels We Have Heard On High, The Christmas Song, Jingle Bells…) with the duo’s signature sound of intricate rhythms and complex musicality. This not-so-traditional rendition of Christmas favorites provides a feel-good listening experience that will invoke the desire to decorate Christmas trees and bake star-shaped cookies with friends, family, and lovers.
